i just read finish reading this forum..it is so fun..i wanna join too...
Okey, for me, i would like to see:
1. Mulder and Scully, still in the same casting please..DD and GA have the best chemistry I've ever seen in my whole life..
2. Wiliam of course, he is the main story now...but, if you choose to have XF4 later, let the 2012 story in there. so the XF3 will be about william growing up with his real parents, not the foster parents in the village..
3. Maggie would be nice..I want to see her while she met william, it is always intersting to see grandma interact with her grandchild, and mulder's can't so...
4. Skinner will always be the best helper
5. X, the secret informant that will create the story line in XF3 may be..^^
6. Gibson, and lone gunmen, they will be a great helper to william to control his power
7. super soldier...we never know how many they still have those stupid android(but since the adam and eve already dead...)

nb: i don't think marita can really give something, but if it is already talking about colonization, may be she will make a connection to the government...and also with doggett and reyes, they have nothing to do with it..if they have to be in, just give them 2 or 3 scenes.. =]

Actually, the faceless aliens are shapeshifters - they mutilated their own "real" faces to have no eyes/nose/mouth, etc. Physically the rebels and bounty hunters look the same to me and in the documentary on the BLACK OIL DVD set John Shiban says something like "The faceless rebels, who are the same as the alien bounty hunters, basically". It makes sense if you think about it; the black oil took over the shapeshifting race and turned them into their slaves/bounty hunters. Those that fought became the faceless rebels. Plus, at the end of ONE SON, we see a doctor shapeshift back into a "faceless" rebel, so we know they can shapeshift.

As for the face being torn off in TWO FATHERS, we were told they self-mutilated their faces as protection, but that doesn't mean they can't shapeshift over their scarred faces anymore. It seems like there's a pliable layer over their real selves.

Basically, as I see it, there are three types of "real" aliens: the black oil, greys and the shapeshifters (in both the faceless and bounty hunter variety). Everything this else is a hybrid/clone/experiment involving human beings. And, of course, the greys are actually not technically aliens as they were created from human hosts/DNA by the black oil millions of years ago so, really, the only true alien races are the shapeshifters and the black oil itself. Here's something else to think about it - all the hyridization/cloning we've seen seems to revolve around combining shapeshifter and human DNA, not humans and greys.

Hola a todos !! Me gustaría se haga con todos los personajes principales de las 9 temporadas. Que la dirija Rob Bowman (POR FAVOR, como lo hizo en Fight The Future) con el seguimiento de Chris y Frank (Acá donde hubiese metido el gran nombre de Kim Manners sin dudas, aún me duele su partida) y por supuesto el infaltable Mark Snow en la música (Fue quien salvó a X-Files 2). and i third my own idea! it cus be like it's a case thats on the news of some kidnapped kid under strange circumstances and they get involved in it, but then it turns out that the kid is Will!!!!!!!!! it'd be amazing. and so they have to save him or something :D

I already agree with Raskolnikov. I am actually trying to write a fanfic about XF3 that includes the supersoldiers, hybrids, bounty hunters, black oil, and rebels but I've added some circumstances like time travelling and some new characters but one new character that could be vital to Mulder, Scully and little William's life. I want William in XF3 too! Now that's the idea but I'm still working on it. ^_^

Then I'd like to see Doggett and Reyes, because their storyline was dropped in The Truth. I'd like to know what happened with them, what's their life now, etc.

I'd like to see Skinner, Kersh, beatiful Marita Covarrubias and some ghosts of Krycek, CSM and maybe some other beloved villains.

As for the story, I think XF3 should be about the start of the Colonization in 2012. Bring on black oil, hybrids, super soldiers, the rebels and bounty hunters! :) And let the war begin! ;)

i don't think I mentioned this before, but as I was driving home, a thought occurred to me.

What if, in XF3, a side story line, or dare I say cliff hanger ending, is that the junk DNA in all humans turns on.

In short, all of humanity becomes a Gibson Praise.

Now, as to how this junk DNA becomes active is up to the 1013 boys, but it would need to be a global effect, kind of the way Magneto was trying to advance genetic mutation in the first X-Men movie.

We have had the same idea a few weeks ago--- :)
A "T-shirt idea" - Everyone can send us a word which you relate with X-Files 3! Maybe words like Believe, Truth etc.Every wort will be printed on the back of the shirt and should reduce the time until 2012

Thankfully, the boys did not write of poor Skinner and changed their mind.

I think the 10-13 gang should do whatever they feel is best for the franchise and the characters. That being said, like the good parents that they are, they listen to their "children" for their input, and then proceed from there. They have been doing that since the series was on in the 90s and will (most likely) continue to do so.

*snicker* Well, we did see the demise of the LGM.... can Skinner be far behind? I'll come hold your hand if it comes to that.

I've heard rumors from those brave enough to tell me that the dynamic duo plan to euthanize poor Skinner. While this certainly wouldn't be my first choice, and they may have to enter the witness protection program so I won't find them, they should do it if that's what they want to do.

I want to be surprised. I love surprises.
