Attention: LA Film Fest tickets

I just recommend all Philes who want good seats to get there as early as you can to ensure that you get your tickets on time, etc.

I agree with Ericka. It's extremely rude when people do that. I'm getting in line in hopefully enough time and I will shoot for getting the best seats I can get.

I'm hoping this won't be the case at the LA Film Fest. I was at the Paley Festival and from what I saw, everybody was very well behaved.

True! I was surprised how polite and civilized people in line were though! And then once we got in there was no chaos fighting over seats and all that. Let's hope the Film Fest is similar.

I was at the Paley as well and people in line were great..probably because there weren't 5000 people like at the WonderCom.. at the LA fest there are just 478 seats, hopefully i won't be too messy!! :)
does anybody know if we'll be allowed to get closer to Frank, Chris, and David? because the Paley was really cool from this point of view!!! :D

I think it all depends on how early you get there. Obvious the people who get in first will pick the closest seats. I'm assuming that David, Chris and Frank will be on a stage at the front of the theater. Then the seating will be just like any other theater. The closer you are to the stage, the closer you'll be to them. :) If you mean signing autographs and such afterwards, I have no idea. I know they had that at Paley, but unfortunately I was in the second level and there were too many people waiting in line to talk to them, so I didn't get the chance. All I know is that I don't really mind if I get to meet them or not (although that would be a really awesome bonus!). It'll just be cool seeing them, especially David since I've never seen him in person yet. :)

I was in the second level as well at the Paley, but I waited for ages because I really wanted a picture with Frank and Chris..well, I waited also because I wasn't able to move with Nicolas in front of me ;P
it would be great something like the Paley.. :D

You know, I don't know what I was thinking at Paley. My dad was like, "Do you want to get an autograph?" And I was like, "Well, the line's really long." And then we just left! I was just so dazed from seeing them that I didn't think to wait!

well, I can imagine, but I was sure it was going to be my last chance to see them and I just decided "now or never"..and I waited.. don't worry, you can wait with me at the fastival :P

That's so odd, but I never even thought about autographs at the film fest. I've met Chris and David before, but it was always either while they/I were working, or in such a random public place that it seemed rude. I guess if I'm going out of my way to show up in LA, I may actually stick around for a scribble.
