Generations of Philes
I'm just curious.
I have come across several Philes that are either:
1st generation
- meaning that they watched the show when it first premiered AND were kindda old enough to get it, appreciate it, be scared by it, etc....
or
2nd generation
- way too young to watch it and became a Phile through repeats
Which one are you? I am 1st generation.

2nd generation! I found the X-Files online and looked it up, because I remembered the eighth graders at my school talking about it when I was too young to watch the show. I've been hooked for a good three years now and I've got my brother and one of my friend's watching it too. :)

1st generation. I was pretty obsessed back in the day and then over the years after the series finale my VHS and official companions got put on the back shelf but I am definitely having a huge second wind with my obessive fan behaviour now. It all revved up when I got the DVD set and then the movie was announced last year and then I found Haven.

I think I'm both. I didn't know the X-Files existed until season 8, but I watched seasons 8 and 9 as they aired and between new eps I caught up with the old ones. I guess I'm not a true 1st generation Phile but I would have liked to be!

1st generation. I was 13 in 1993 and watched from the Pilot on and I am 28 now with an almost 10 year old who is a huge Phile...

well i'm not a 1st generation and not really a 2nd generation,lol..I didn't see it from the beginning because hell I was like? 6 or something when it first aired..but I became a fan with FTF when I was like 11 and continued to watch the show from season 6 to the end..and caught up with all the previous seasons through repeats (ah the wonderful days of FX specials!) :)

1st generation. I've been a fan since the pilot aired. I was 12 back then. That means I've been a phile for longer than half my life! lol
