So, funny thing happened on the way to the forum...
No, not quite like that.
I went for my usual jog this afternoon, and for no formal reason, I thought I'd go back to my old route that passes through Queen Elizabeth Park. I'd run it nearly everyday for 4 years, but hadn't since before Christmas, and the only reason this became odd, is that it passes right by Father Joe's apartment complex. (And yes, I am entirely sure it's the same one).
I'll take my camera down there sometime this week, and ta…

It's amazing the things we discover when we're not looking for them.I just thought I'd share some of the randomness I've collided with this past week while tracking people down for the Vancouver X-Files premier.
#1) You'd be pleased to know many of these folks can just be found on Facebook. I love this social networking tool like I love no other. Of the 50+ XF alum I've already invited (yeah, I've still got my work cut out for me), at least 75% of them are on Facebook. I've even come across one…

I've been plugging away at this laptop all afternoon, sending and receiving e-mails about the Vancouver premier party... something I have done many times over in a promotional capacity over the years... but dude, never with the X-Files.
Today, I tracked down a young fella named Joel Palmer. Not that young anymore, actually, but he sure was when he played a demon/ghost-possessed kid in Conduit. Yep. I'm thorough.
Got any ideas of faves I should track down?

Holy cripes I took a while getting around to part II, didn't I? I finished the first video edit. The one you all now know as The X-Files Sneak Peek (and if you don't, for crying out loud click

Eleven days later, I'm sitting at the laptop, with that damn Cher song we love so much running in the back ground, and an ice cold Anchor Steam bee…

In retrospect, I almost never got on the plane. The day before my departure, my father called to wish me well for my trip... and to mention that my grandmother was in the hospital with congestive heart failure. I instantly offered to scrap my holiday, and hightail it to Manitoba, but Dad, stubborn as all members of my family, vehemently refused my suggestion and insisted she'd be fine, there wouldn't be anything to do but wait and hope the the current treatment would bring some improvement. As o…

Sightings: Daniel Craig=0, Gillian Anderson=0, Harry Potter=0, Fat People=0, gigant pidgeons eating garbage=41.
No more prince gifs right now, will make one if necessary when i return to Vancouver! ps I seem to be the only one wearing shorts here... I don't understand all these ppl wearing pants. Wayyyy too hot.
I'll be home in a few hours, I'll give you ring if you are still up. Miss you too! :)
PS - I love hockey and I am so all about seeing a Canucks game when I visit.
OMG, I don't think I ever commented, but can I just say that I absolutely loved, loved, loved your XF Cancouver bash, awesome! haha
That is no problem for me. Keep you posted on date options.
BTW, Drinking Leads To Cher? Are you referencing the first Phile Bash perhaps? =)
How's it hanging up there?
