"I wasn't sure what to make of it and found it was dragging somewhat UNTIL we got to episode 4. I've now seen 5 and Frank is right, it really does get turned around with some interesting outcomes you were not expecting...and episode 6 is…"
When I arrived at the London Film & Comic Con I discovered a free Q&A was just about to commence on Stage 1 with executive producer Frank Spotnitz (X Files) and Australian actress Melissa George about their new series ‘Hunted’ made in the UK, created by Frank with producers behind hit UK series such as ‘Life On Mars’, ‘Ashes To Ashes’ and ‘Spooks’.…See More
Dear EveryoneI have some uploaded audition videos of mine at 1Click2Fame which have been approved and are 'live'. Please can you check them out and vote for me. The more responses I get, the more chance I have of getting through this online talent show.I recently tried another talent show in Manchester, and didn't get through (again!) It's very frustrating to perform a musical number in accapella the best I can. Then see two uncouth youths do some rap in front of the judges and get through. I…See More
My sister and I travelled down to London in our car (my husband kindly drove us there, to save a train fare.) Then we said farewell to Pete and travelled on the tube to Charing Cross, where we met up with my HODD friend Mel (who I first bumped into in New York after David Duchovny’s play ‘Break Of Noon’.)Mel, me and Mandy on the…See More
"It's now going in the August issue, which means it'll be on shelves in UK on July 10th. :) I wanted you all to know so you don't go buying the wrong mag! :(
Here's the link to subscribe online for those friends not in the…"
HiI think I might have mentioned that I wrote about a true-life experience my sister and I had with a ouija board years ago? Well I've just been on the phone to the writer to proof read my story. It's now being printed in the July issue of the 'Take A Break - Fate & Fortune' magazine and will be on sale on June 3rd. However it might be moved to the August issue and she's going to let me know if that's the case. About 2-3 weeks after it's in print they are sending me a cheque. This is so…See More
I'm not sure what you mean. Your entry in the Big Bang community has the cover art of the fic, showing the title, and then the summary, etc. plus a link to the fic so I can't see anything wrong with it. All I can suggest is that you edit the entry and check to make sure there are no links, text or codes covering the title or preventing it from being seen. I won't be able to check it as I don't have the ability to edit anyone else's post.
Your friend doesn't have to join Livejournal but she will need to sign up at the artist sign up post and will need to claim your story in the claim post. In terms of posting the work she can email us with a link to the site that she's hosted it on, and provide readers/viewers with some way to contact her with feedback. You can sign up in her name if you want, but we have to have her details and she will need to host the artwork somewhere online.
Yes, there are still 6 stories that are waiting for claims. I've created a new post opening up the artist claims to those who hadn't originally signed up, so I'm hoping that we'll have more people interested in creating some artwork soon.
You can point your friend in the direction of the new post as we've given the original artists a week to make a claim. Waiting until 26th October would be cutting it a bit fine as the posting of the stories will begin on November 2nd.
While there aren't any rules as such on getting in touch with artists you know and would like to do some work for your fic, it's only the summary and final title that's be posted in the claims post. Authors are kept a secret from everyone, bar the artist who's claimed the piece, until the final reveal in November, so asking an artist to claim your post wouldn't really be in keeping with that.
The summary and claims post has gone up here: http://community.livejournal.com/xf_bigbang/2797.html and emails sent to all artists who signed up. Artists are claiming the summaries they are interested in, and once they do I send the author's name and email address. If the artist decides to contact the author it's up to them; we don't get involved once an artist has claimed a story unless there's a problem that only we can deal with.
There's no email from you in the inbox, when did you send it? Stories do need to be sent to the inbox on or by September 10th so that we can then put anonymous summaries into the comm for the artists to choose which story they want to illustrate.
"I am looking forward to the new comic as it is titled "Season 10". I wish FOX would greenlight the third film already.Even with rumors afloat that CC didn't want to do the third film on the date. I and all of us can only hope that…"
