Since last Friday, Weena reminded me about the release of the project on 11-25 and yes I indeed watched out for it. I have this mix emotions that time. I was really excited!!! I was talking to Weena yesterday and describing to her what I saw in the video since she can't access the video from her work that time due to firewall.
I was totally speechless after I watched it. My heart is filling with so much emotions. I wanted to cry. All are very well said! Well done on the video. I love the sounds too, the sequence.. everything are just PERFECT. And even my guy friend who saw the video and wasn't an X-Phile said "Awww, ang saya naman" ("Awww, that was fun!"). And even asked why 10:13, LOL.
I do remember that day when we shot our video submission under the INTENSE HEAT of the sun. I got sunburned that day. We were all sweating like a pig, and the guard at the Luneta Park forbade us to shoot our video there without a proper permission from the City Mayor. We told him, it was not the statue of Jose Rizal (our national hero) that was the main subject of our video.... BUT THAT CLOCK across the street. We transferred from Luneta Park, went to SM Mall of Asia and then followed by the EDSA Shrine. We did a gag reel in SM Mall of Asia but Anne (our "director") didn't give me that part of the video yet. We got a problem when Anne transferred the video to her computer. We didn't hear any sound while playing it locally in our computers, and then I decided to upload it at my YouTube account. Avi asked us about the 2 clips with "Where we are from..." and "Where we are from... it's always 10:13" which we submitted right away. Her last request was the one we've missed since Anne is the one who has the video cam, and since she wasn't included in the 2 clips, we decided she'd be the one who would appear in the additional video. But sad to say, she's busy with her University project that time and she also didn't have a fire wire cord.
I'm really grateful for Avi's patience (FYI: Avi was in charged on Asia, Australia part). She is a very enthusiastic person and always keep on an eye for our submissions).
This project brings each X-Phile around the world closer to each other. If I will add one line in the video, I will say "A place where we are all brothers and sisters no matter what race, what color and what religion we belong to."
