Well I'm part of the organization crew and we're trying to gather as much fans as possible, it's going to be on Summer 2011 (in Mexico City) We're going to have conferences, games, a rally and a trip to Teotihuacan. There are some surprises to the fans who are faithfull and expect the best.
We're planning everything carefully to have one of the biggest XF meetings.
I'm fan since 1994, when they starting to broadcast here in Mexico the series. I was almost 11 years old, now I'm going to turn 26, so 15 years I'm being a fan. The first episode I saw was EVE, that's why I chose Teena Simmons as a nickname. My favorite episode is Arcadia (in other forums I'm Laura Petrie) Cindy Reardon is my dear ficticious sister. We met through a fanfiction page and we become really good friends.
sorry for the late reply, I was visiting a friend in Cologne for the last few days and did hardly get a chance to check my messages, let alone write a proper answer.
I definitely gonna try to attend the whole weekend of X-Con (I can already hear my mum: "You wanna do what? Are you crazy? that is just a tv-show!!" - Yeah, whatever ^^) Just to meet with other Philes, I haven't met any in person, yet. I know a few German Philes here on Biglight but feel free to introduce me to others, I am quite new to the community.
So, it looked like a corn field a little bit, I immediately thought of FTF lol. I was waiting for the bees to come :) but well, we do not like bees, do we?
I don't think I need a visa to go to the US. well, at least I didn't when I went to Chicago last year, so I think there is nothing in the way for us celebrating XF3 :D
I had another forensics class today and I think my wish of becoming a coroner, I drop that. that smell is killing all my senses. But I agree, I really liked my anatomy-classes where we were dissecting a body completely. But these only smelled like formalin I was pretty used to that (weird to say :)) I remember I was fascinated by the heart and the kidneys.
Do you also start to notice medical mistakes made in the show? -since I started to rewatch the episodes last year, that happens to me from time to time lol (I know I am a geek ^^)
I'm also quite late... :) We had a school exchange programme and therefore I spent 3 weeks in Paris - which is a wonderful city, but the weather was awful (lots of clouds and rain).
We're planning to stay roughly a week in London, so we'll visit some famous places as well. And hopefully we'll meet other X-Philes ;)
You are absolutely right - which is a little strange, because we're always a little behind over here, usually it's only ½ year but it varies. Anyways back on track, season 4 was correct, and my first episode was Unruhe. and like you I haven't stopped watching since :)
I have a lot of favourites... lets just say I love all, some more than others though, which is only natural I guess.

That would be awesome if you guys break 2,000 members before XF3. I have heard about the fan book from XFU, but I don't know much about it. Why? and what exactly is it?
oh, are you serious, you're a medical student as well? how cool is that!! :) we can have nice conversations about disgusting stuff then...;) well, actually I think I cannot be shocked with anything anymore. I remember one time when I told my brother something and he was like "eww, stop, I don't wanna hear that" and I thought "ok, what was so gross about that"....should I be worried? :)
I know what you mean with the cautery, I think with the mask over the face in the OR, you are not getting a lot of fresh air anyway, so that makes it even worse..... But I tell you that body smelled a lot worse than that. and it had maggots on it. You know I was always considering forensics as a profession for me (watching autopsies done by a certain redhead as a teen must have had a certain influence on me ^^) but I am not so sure about that anymore.....
Yes, you can be my tour-guide through Cali!! and we definitely have to go to Disneyland, I want to take a picture of Mickey Mouse :)
I am planning to go to berlin to attend the Con, definitely. I do not have my ticket yet, because I cannot plan right now if i am able to go there for the whole weekend or just one day. I am looking forward to this very much, it's gonna be my first phile gathering at all!!! I hope a lot of people are showing up. Have you seen the website? it is very nicely made. I can't believ this was/is all organised by only a small group of philes, that's really amazing!
I saw the anniversary vid, it is really wonderful! loved it :) Did you shoot your part in a corn field?
