Alas, I am burning the candle at both ends right now - it's almost over - this semester anyway. It was a little nuts doing three courses and I must be insane to tackle four courses next semester. Don't know how I'd manage without the most supportive husband in the world.

Shh.. today was a day of relaxation. I had an exam yesterday and my next one isn't 'til Friday. I do have an essay due but I'll spew that one out on Monday & Tuesday.

I spent most of today watching Californication.

Totally random and out there question. What X-Files books would you recommend? :p I'm a major book dweeb and having lots of books tickles my fancy. I'm odd. :) I have The X Files Book of the Unexplained, Vol. 1 &2 in one massive book.. and X Marks the Spot but that's about it.

Yeah, I was talking with Trish, they're holding the session tonight. :) I'll definitely make my way into the forum and such! I'm in the middle of exam session so I'll be able to scope out the rest in detail when I'm released for scholarly duties.

And I think the story behind the intersection is that the City of Ottawa did some massive renaming of streets when we had this agglomeration of all the sections (Orleans, Kanata, Navan, etc) into just plain Ottawa. Someone in the council pushed to have those streets renamed to Mulder Ave and Scully Way. :D

Nah.. I didn't technically "go to B.C." I lived there when I was a kid. I think it was even before the X-Files. I might have been 2.. I think we moved to Ottawa when I was 4.. Yeah, so 1991-1992. I don't know the specifics. I haven't been back there since. I really do want to go but I get the feeling that any friend that I drag along won't want to go through the whole "Let's check out these places!" because I don't have any friends who are that into XF.

Reason why I joined up this community and am going to start taking part in the Skype File sessions. :) I always try to weasel something XF related into conversations but it falls flat because my friends have NO idea what I'm talking about. They all thought I was crazy when I drove out to this little "suburb" last summer to take pictures of Mulder Avenue and Scully Way in Navan.

NFL! My entire family on my dad's side is from there. I've been three times or so. It's absolutely gorgeous! The people are just ridiculously out of this world friendly and if you go during the summer, you'll be able to see the icebergs. ;) Although, NFL is just chilly regardless because it's on the coast.

And Toronto is amazing! I much prefer it to Montreal. My friends and I go for fun sometimes. It's roughly a 5 hour drive for us. It just has a different feel. It's the city that I feel resembles New York the most. And yeah.. definitely spring/summer/fall worthy. Winter here is just.. eh.. it takes me even a month or so to get used to the snow again despite seeing it every year.

Yessss.. the 101! I always forget the name of the highway! I'll remember that! ;)

And the celeb? Lena Katina, russian singer. She's in LA recording her solo album. It was neat though cause I spent a week in LA, just browsing about. I attended this kids movie premiere. Didn't see any major celebs or film sets. They were filming Valentine's Day (the day before my flight touched down.. and the day after I flew back home) Bad timing on my part! And they had had the Inglorious Basterds premiere a few days before I flew in also. I spent loads of time just walking around. I love all the palm trees and flowers. Hiked up Runyon Canyon. It was just overall awesome. I like the feeling of it. I want to see more.

Is B.C. the only place you've visited in Canada?

I'm going to say SoCal... I went to LA. A bunch of us got together to meet one of our favourite "celebs" if you'd say. To us, she's famous! I'd always wanted to go but this gave me an excuse. I would have SOO flown back out in November for the IBG Believe Again but I have university classes. Next time, I'm just going to fly into LAX and take the drive up the coast to SanFran. I have a few friends from Modesto. :) Apparently, the drive is amazing!

Ahh.. B.C. Yeah, I haven't gotten a chance to get back out there. I lived there for two years or so but I was too young to remember squat! We lived on Queen Charlotte Island. Traveling in Canada is so expensive. But I definitely want to go visit it.. do some scoping about. Be a little creeper and find some X-file locations. Haha.

Thanks for the welcome message! :) I see you're from California! I soooo miss it. I spent a week there last summer. It's amazing. I wish I could move there or just visit it more often!
