Is there anyway to go ahead with production of a movie for xf3 by producers and set the time for 2012? Why wait until the nominal year to do it? The sooner the better:)

"Hello everyone at X-CON in Berlin. This is Frank Spotnitz Talking to you from Los Angeles, California and I wish I could be there with you this weekend.
I really hoped that I would be able to make it and I hope that there is some future X-CON I will be able to join you in person.
But I wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you and even though I'm not there I'm celebrating with you 16 amazing years of The X-Files.
We were doing the show, Chris and I always used to think that how great it would be if it lived on beyond it's initial broadcast.
And now all these years later to see that there are people like you who still love the show, who are excited and inspired by it is incredible satisfying to us.

I don't think the X-Files story is over yet, I expect it to continue and I hope that we have good news for all of you in the months ahead.
But in the meantime I just want to say thank you for all of your support and your love and I think you have built an amazing community of fans across the world.
I hear from you all the day on my website which is a continuing source of joy to me. So thank you for being here, I whish I could be there in person but I'm with you in spirit and see you next time."

Oh my.. we all were sooo excited and thrilled by this!! (the initial reaction was recorded)

The first day, Saturday- ended quite late. And so on the second day Monika - the master of the con,
told us that she checked her mail and received this!!!
OMG, can you imagine? We all looked at one-another and went like eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
*caugh*.
Yeah..thats about it.
I think there will be a XCON DVD and that'll be a better report than my words :D.
